We just bought a newer car and got rid of the van. We bought a 2007 chevy malibu. It is a fun little car to drive around town. Yes I know it doesn't fit the whole family. But it is a car for Mike to drive to work mostly and to teach Stephanie to drive.
Today was the last day of school for the kids. They are all excited for summer. I don't know why all they are going to do is drive me and each other crazy.
Samantha is headed to San Diego on the 4th for a week. She is going to visit my brother, Danny and his family. She is so excited. I know one thing they are going to do is go to Disneyland. And swimming since he has a pool in the backyard.
Nathan is going to a camp at the end of June for high functioning autistic kids. I am so glad he got to go. Only 58 kids got in. Plus he got a scholarship for it, even better.
James has started playing baseball. He has never played before and was so excited that he hit the ball twice in practice last night.
The younger three are starting swim lessons on the 1st. Lauren is excited to start swimming again. She really enjoys it.

Holy crap the packers came at 9am. Three of them and by 2pm the whole downstairs is done. That includes 2 bedrooms, office, living room and laundry room. And they took a lunch. Got to love them. Now they are working on the up stairs. We will see what they got done up here before 5pm. That is how late they are staying. Thank god it is no 10pm like our neighbors last night.

Tomorrow the movers are showing up to start the fun job of packing up the house. I am still in denial. I will be even as we are driving away next week. The movers will be here all week. Then daddy flies in on Sunday. This past year has gone by pretty fast for me but if you talk to my husband it has been the longest year ever.
We final out of our house on Wed, the 4th. And since they have started black lighting the carpets we may have to pay for new carpet downstairs. The inspector is thinking about $1000 for 1 spot. Good grief lets get them one last time before you move to your new base.
As for our new base. We are 3 on the housing list and they are thinking maybe May before we get into a house. So our problem there is do we live in TLF until then? or rent a house for a year?
We leaving pulling out of here on the 5th and should get to McConnell on Friday. The good thing TLF at McConnell has Internet. Thank god. Well I am off to work for the last time.

Concert time

Tonight Jen and I (and Jen's DH) are going out to a concert. Guess who it is.................Neil Diamond. Woohoo!!! My DH asked if we paid for the tickets I said "hell no, I wouldn't spend $55 on a concert especially him." Yes, the CAC gave them out free this week. I huge stack of them. DH sais good becuase he is like 90. I am going just to go. I have nothing else to do but Jen know ALL of his songs. You know her and the tivial things that comes out of her mouth. One day her mom, me and her went to town. I teased and said we need to go see him. All the way home Jen kept coming up with all of these songs he sings. I couldn't believe it. Here I maybe know one.

Ok here it goes .......
Well our whole problem is getting our medical clearance. You would not think it would be this hard but you are talking military.
We had to redo our clearance after Mike got his new orders. So I did it all after he left and we had our big appt on Oct 16 to ask the kids NOTHING!!!! Let's waste the time of a single mom of 5. great fun. The doctors who reviewed our packet said it could take up to 3 weeks to hear back. Well ok i thought. I guess I am not leaving at Thanksgiving. Well we heard nothing. Two weeks ago Mike got his checklist but still no orders. So he went to the clinic on his Thursday. They haven't seen it. OMG are you kidding. So I went to our great clinic and found out they sent our package to Korea not McConnell. So Korea can did it. On the day of our appt in Oct. Great who has lost it now. Guess Christmas is out of the question. Which is what I reallty wanted to do. Get moved nd settled before everyone goes there from here in FEb. Well Mike went to the clinic again today. Sure Grand FOrks sent the package but.............. they just sent notification not our package. so Osan didn't think anything of it. Now Mike is pissed. McConnell hasn't even got it at all. Well Mike was talking to a SRA and she called a Msgt in Mental Health and they said "you leave in Feb we are still ok. Don't worry as long as it is done before then". Notice I said Feb... yes the same month everyone from here is leaving and they have already got movers set up and everything. great so when am I leaving? I have NO idea. The only good thing about him being there is we get moved to the top of housing. Thank god. But I am so upset about the whole thing.

Mike made it home for mid tour Tues afternoon. The kids and I were very happy to see him. About 9pm we get a call from Osan. Guess what.......our follow on has been cancelled. Yes you read that right. And they gave us two options. McConnell or Creech. Where in the world is Creech I asked. Found out it is 45 miles north of Nellis. They have nothing there. No housing, Bx nothing.... So I think that is out of the question. I am not living on Nellis and having him drive that far and also not taking 2 teenagers to Vegas. Now for McConnell, We don't want to go there either. But it is the lesser of two evils. Osan called Mike on Wed asked what our answer was. He told him McConnell. But he was going to put in a differment with EFMP's as the reason. So we will see.
We may or may not be moving in Feb. How much fun is that.?

When I had to pick Stephanie up for camp I decided to go through the park. Everyone had a great time. The kids thought it was cool to walk into a diferent countries.

The towers are suppose to repersent the four corners of the world. I have some explaing on this picture. Sam asked what language the Canadians speak. I told her French and English. I also told her maybe if she went to Canada she would learn some French. And look what she is doing. Walking across to Canada. And no she didn't learn any new language. I couldn't believe she thought that could happen.

OMG I can not believe whatI did this week. I got Stephanie's dirty clothes out of her room since she is gone. And.... I did her laundry. And her phone was in her shorts. So it got washed. Everyone had a great time in Denver and yes we all survived. I took the my kids to a water park one day, when it was 100 outside, and only I got burnt. I was red as a tomato and I am still peeling. My mom and I took the kids one day to the museum of nature and science. Which we have been to once before but my boys just love going there. My brother, Danny and his family flew up from San Diego. That was so nice since I hadn't seen him since his wedding. With him, we went to the aquarium.

So we got home on the 15th and on the 20th I had to drive Stephanie to music camp. It is at the International Peace Gardens. That was 375 round trip and I get to do that all over again on Sat. This time we will go through the gardens . The kids got a kick out of going over the broader in the truck. Since they have only flown from country to country.

Well, tomorrow I am off to collect the other two kids that in here. Yes I know that is the fourth. We are headed to Rapid City for a couple days to spend some time with some close family friends and then off to Denver until the 15th. My brother and his family from San Diego are flying up.
I bought Mike his plane ticket to come home on his mid tour. That was a pricey $1400. He will be here on Sept 2.
Stephanie got her learners permit on Monday. God help us. But is still in trouble with me so we will see when she can drive. Oh you want to know why she is in trouble. Well she was acting like a teenager. It all started with my cell phone bill. I opened it up Friday morning and nocticed it was $100 more than it is suppose to be. I did some looking and come to find out she downloaded $100 worth of games on her phone and took them off when she was done playing them so I wouldn't see them. OMG!!!!!!! So mom took the phone away!!!!! Then I thought since I was going downtown I would let her get her permit. She passed the written test and failed her vision test. Her glasses where hiden in her room. OMG I am so glad JPV wen to town with me who knows whatI would have done. When I got home I called verizon to see if they could help out . They were nice enough to take $20 off the bill. AND block everythin on her phone. I had no clue they could do that. They need to tel l parents about this fact. It would have saved me $100. So now I have a little slave with no cell phone.

My parents came out for a week and left with two of my kids. For three weeks!!!!!!! Holy cow is it quite in the house and boy it stays clean longer!!!! They took Sammy and Lauren. Friday Lauren called me at 10:30 pm saying she wanted me. She wanted me to come get her. I guess Sammy went to spend the night at my youngest brothers house and Lauren thought she was not coming back. So she didn't want to be at Grandma's and Grandpa's house. How cute!!! Only a 6 yr old would come up with that.
I have to go get James up from summer school now but this should make the poeple bugging me to update happy. Love you all!!!

This is what I woke up to the day JPV left to go to Wis. OMG who would do this? And..... they got the toliet from housing. I can't believe they actually gave it to them!!!!!! DH of JPV called housing and asked if they had any that didn't work because his wife wanted to make a flower pot out of it. The flamingo made it's way back home to the PV's house. The toliet is going to find a new home so they can enjoy it. Don't know who yet but poeple be warned!!!

I can't believe it has been two yrs. It is some little boy's Bday that we all know. Remember last yr. I had to work so cake was dropped off to me. Well tonight the twins and I are going over to have cake and sing Happy Birthday Ethan!!!
Knucklebuster was ok. The food was good. But it was not as good as last yr. The speaker this yr talked about military stuff. Boring. It was bitter sweet since Mike was not with me.
Speaking of Mike, He finally got his computer and junk this past week. He is still not liking it but it is now a little more bearable.
Guess what we are getting more of this weekend. SNOW!!! up to 2 inches. Come on now. It was -21 without windchill this morning. Enough is enough I am tired of WINTER!!!!

I started going back to the gym this week. I jave been going with Kelly, from work. I really need her, she is the kind of person who does not take NO for an answer. We walked 3 miles yesturday and today.

To start off, yes Mike is in Korea. He landed safely this morning, four hours late. But he landed. He was tired so I didn't get much out of him. Hopefully he calls soon to fill me in on why he was late.

James got sick with this nasty cold thing this past week and he stayed home on Thurs so I took the day off. Even though JPV offered to watch him. Gotta love her. Luckily I did because I ended up with this crap on Thurs also. Have not had much energy to do anything at all. Hopefully I feel better soon. Everyone all knows that once mom gets sick the house goes to hell.

Oh and my biggest news yet.....At work we are doing that Biggest Loser thing and our first weigh in was on Friday and I lost 3 lbs..... Yeah for me. I was so excited I called Mike at 9am our time, he was still in Tucson, and told him. He was still sleeping. Lazy man....

Well it started out at 4:30am on Friday Nov 23. JPV and I decided we wanted to brave the crowds and go shopping. Yes we did. And omg we had fun. We were going to go to the BX and get our $20 gift card and leave but as we drove past the BX yeah we just kept on going. We headed to town. Jen thought she wanted to get a computer at best buy for $199 so we went there first. They opened at 5am. The line was all the way around the building. We got in the store and asked were they are at. Come to find out that if you were not in line at 3:30am when they past out tickets we were not getting one. HOly crap we found out that poeple started lining up at 6pm on Thurs. CRAZY! Jen got a couple things there and off to the next store. Yes we opened Target up also. Spent about 2 hours in there and it looked like we were buying the store out. It was crowded but everyone was in a good mood so no fights broke out. Then we went to Walmart. Ahh the quiet. Yes it was quiet there at 8am. Spent a couple hours there and did not have to wait in a line to check out. Went a couple of other places. We needed to hang up Christmas ornaments up at the GS Daisies made so we went to the Grand Cities mall. Come to find out, after calling Rebecca that is was a the other mall. Jenny said HELL NO we are not going to the other mall. Only forwards and backwards. You could tell she was in a good mood.
So after all was said and done we got back home around noon and got all the Christmas shopping done and had fun.

Both my younger brothers had babies the month of Oct.

Corey, my youngest brother, and my sister in law, Laura, had Gia Lynn on Nathan birthday. Danny and Denine had their daughter 5 days after being evacuated from their house in San Diego. They live in the town of Poway. They left their house on Monday and they were able to return on Wed. Their house was fine. Luckily because with her 9 months prego and he is a wheelchair I don't know how they would have managed. So anyways here are their pictures

Well this past week has been crazy. I started my Christmas projects (i am making stamped coasters for our families). I have to make about 60 of them for a set of 4. And I have gotten 6 sets done.
Stephanie thought she lost her retainer, which would have cost us $100 to get her a new one. But the kicker is she just got her braces off and retainer last week!!! She found it on the bus the next day. Apparently the bus driver gave all the kids some candy to sustain them for the longgggg bus ride home on Thurs. She took it out and forgot to put it back in her mouth. Great!!!! I was not a happy mom on Thurs night.
And to top all this stress going on. My hours at work got cut. I was working 3 1/2 hours a day. I now, if I want, can work a lovely 30 min a day. OH great!!!! And I will be put on the sub list( which I was already on and never called for). What great timing a month and half before Christmas and to still get gifts for all my kids, all 5 of them. I was not in a great mood at all yesterday. I felt like I had been fired even though I can still work my 30 min a day. It sucks, sucks, sucks I tell you!!!!!!!! One of the ladies who i work with is moving in Feb. So I will probably get my job back but to have to most expensive months off really sucks the big one!!!!
Oh I almost forgot the most important thing. My oldest child, the one in the AF, has been sick all week, he has just been laying around the house. Came home from work early Thurs. and went to bed he slept from 2pm until 1am and got up, woke me up and asked why he had no dinner. OMG, leave me be!!!!! I think he ate chips and dip I could care less at 1am what you eat for dinner!!!!

I know I have been mia for awhile. We just got back from MI this morning. My sister in law got married. And can I say OMG towards my hubby. He got so drunk that by the end of the night he could not stand up. He also thought the elevator was the bathroom, he really had to go. Luckily I stopped him from peeing. He passed out at 2am in him uniform face down in the middle of the bed. I had to sleep with the twins.
See, he kept telling his family that he was not drinking and was going to be in bed by 10pm. Yeah, right. All I have to say is thank god we did not have any driving to do and the kids where sleeping in the hotel room. And did not see their retarded dad. As soon as I wake up a little I will download pics.

Well I started this blog. And I actually have something to post. The twins really got on my bad side this morning. First of all, Boomer last night was playing with Dakota and pulled off her collar and I never put it back on. Then this morning the twins were outside playing in the front of the house and left the fromt door open. Who knows how long the duo of four legged kids where running around outside before Lauren came in and said. "Mom I am looking for Boomer" I thought oh great I have things I need to do. I went looking also. After looking in the house and realizing both dogs were gone. I got in the truck and drove around to their favorite hang out (the park behind fff's house). Well they were there. I came back and there was a message on the phone. It was a guy on my street saying he had Boomer's collar. Oh Great both dogs with no collars running around!!!!!!! So I went and picked up his collar and went driving around some more. No dogs in site. I came back and called the SP's. They said a guy on Hawaii street hd them in his back yard. OH great they are found!!!!! Wrong!!!!! HE saw them in his yard. By then Dakota he said was foaming at the mouth. Great!!! By now an hour has past at least. I did some more driving around. Then get a call from my old job. The lady who finally caught them knew who they belonged to but didn't know my number. She knew I worked there so she called. Thank god. Turns out she lives on my street!!!!! Good lord!!!!!! And to top it off Boomer rolled in SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

This all happened before 10:30!! I so wanted to sell those 5 yrs olds but I feed them lunch and put them on the bus.
